Arlington Bowie went 7-4 and lost in the first round of the playoffs last season. But coach Kenny Perry thinks his team can contend for a state championship this year.

"We've got good kids, athletic kids,'' Perry said. "We've got a great coaching staff. We've got a chance to win it all.''

Bowie quarterback Kolby Listenbee has committed to TCU, and running back Russell Hansbrough has committed to Arizona State. Defensive linemen Jessie Rogers and Demonte Hood both have offers from schools in the Big 12 , SEC and Pac-12, according to Rivals.com.
